Zhejiang Shanyu Dye Chemical Co., Ltd. Annual Physical Treatment of 8,000-Ton Dispersed Series Dyes
Public Disclosure of Self-Inspection and Acceptance for Environmental Protection Facilities in the Technical Renovation Project
On March 6, 2018, the environmental protection facility completion and acceptance meeting for the physical treatment and compounding technology renovation project of Zhejiang Shanyu Dye Chemical Co., Ltd.'s annual production capacity of 8,000 tons of disperse series dyes was held in the company's conference room. The acceptance team conducted on-site inspections and verified the implementation of environmental protection measures for this project. After careful review and discussion, they formulated inspection opinions and put forward specific rectification requirements. As of April 3, all required corrective actions had been completed. Following an internal self-inspection by our company, it has been determined that the project now meets the conditions for environmental protection acceptance. In accordance with the "Regulations on the Administration of Construction Projects" and the company's own self-acceptance procedures, we hereby publicly announce the following acceptance conclusions:
I. Basic Project Information
Zhejiang Shanyu Technology Co., Ltd., originally known as Zhejiang Shanyu Dyestuff Chemical Co., Ltd., was officially approved by the Taizhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation in June 2017 to change its corporate name to "Zhejiang Shanyu Technology Co., Ltd." The company is a specialized chemical enterprise engaged in the development, production, and trade of dyes, primarily focusing on the manufacturing of series such as Disperse Yellow, Disperse Pale Yellow, and Disperse Red dyes. Currently, Shanyu Dyestuff retains only the dye grinding and spray-drying processes, along with essential trade and office operations; all other production equipment has been dismantled. This acceptance pertains to the physical treatment and compounding technology upgrade project for an annual output capacity of 8,000 tons of Disperse-series dyes. The spray-drying dust generated is treated through cyclone separation, followed by baghouse filtration and water-membrane dust removal before being discharged into the atmosphere via a high-altitude exhaust stack. Additionally, the company has phased out coal-fired boilers entirely, adopting natural gas-fired hot-air furnaces for heating during the spray-drying process. The combustion exhaust gases from natural gas use, combined with the spray-drying dust, are released together through a single exhaust stack. Wastewater generated is first processed through dedicated wastewater treatment facilities before being transferred to Taizhou Water Treatment Development Co., Ltd. for further treatment, ultimately discharging into the Taizhou Bay. Waste packaging materials and wastewater treatment sludge are collected and subsequently entrusted to Taizhou Dechang Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. for proper disposal.
